Palazzo Podestà Lucciardi

Palazzo Podestà was built in 1819 to a design by the architect Carlo Barabino, who was also behind the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa. The quadrangular neoclassical building features rustication on the ground floor that expands in a fan shape over five doors, all of which are the same shape. Standing out among them is the large central door, which still has its original leaves. The atrium boasts exceptional marble paving and the main vault rests on four brick Doric columns with white marble capitals. On the sides are classic human mascarons.
