Palazzo Remedi

Different parts of Palazzo Remedi were built at different times. The 14th century marble colonnade (with hinges embedded in the columns) is all that remains of the original building that stood on this site. The arched main doorway with the coat of arms of the Marquis Remedi above it dates back to the 18th century. The façade of Palazzo Remedi is rather linear and it is only broken up by a string course between the ground floor and the upper floors. A monumental touch is added inside by 17th and 18th century statues and a large 17th century nymph.
